Mission Statement:
The Office of the Command Surgeon plans, coordinates, synchronizes and provides technical supervision of Combat Health Support: advise the US Army South CG and joint task force commanders and staff regarding conserving the fighting strength and health of the command. It coordinates veterinary services, health and environmental activities, medical plans and operation, medical logistics, and Army Medical Department personnel and organization staff support.
