SAN ANTONIO - Saturdays in the fall mean one thing to most Americans, college
football. If you’re lucky enough to attend a game in person, it also means a
second thing, tailgating. That’s just what happened this past Saturday as Army
South participated in a tailgate hosted by the West Point Society of South
Texas. The event was a leadup to the game between Army West Point and Notre
Dame’s Fighting Irish.

On Oct. 4, Hurricane Matthew, a Category 4 hurricane, made landfall on the
island of Cuba. For safety reasons, more than 700 U.S. personnel were evacuated
from Naval Station Guantanamo Bay to Naval Air Station Pensacola, Fla., nearly
1,100 miles away.
