U.S. Army South to host Hispanic Heritage Month Observation

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas – U.S. Army South is hosting a Hispanic Heritage Month observation at the historic JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Theater Friday, Sept. 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Honorable Alberto Gonzales, former U.S. Attorney General, is the keynote speaker. There will also be live entertainment and cultural food sampling. The event is free and open to all DoD ID card holders. There will be an opportunity to interview the Honorable Alberto Gonzales immediately following the event. We will meet at the Visitors Center next to the Harry Wurzbach gate at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16. (Turn left at traffic light in front of Wurzbach gate).
