Mission Statement

The Corrections Division is responsible for the transfer and management of Air Force courts-martialed members from worldwide confinement facilities for continued confinement in Regional Correctional Facilities (RCFs) operated by the Department of Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marine Corps. The division maintains courts-martial, personnel, and financial data of inmates confined in the Air Force Corrections System and members released on parole or appellate leave.

Vision Statement

The Air Force Corrections System is based on a corrective rather than punitive basis. We are duty bound to ensure a secure, humane and productive environment for inmates and staff. It requires positive programs to preserve and strengthen an inmate’s dignity. Those inmates not retained for further military service are provided the opportunity through education, training and rehabilitation to return to society as a responsible and productive citizen. We are committed to ensuring crime victims and witnesses are afforded all rights and privileges entitled by law.
