Mission Statement

The mission of the Headquarters Air Force Security Forces/Security Forces Operations Center is to maintain functional management over all USAF Security Forces personnel and equipment to support wartime and peacetime contingencies. Act as the executive agent responsible for tasking Security Forces (SF) through each Major Command (MAJCOM) Security Forces functional manger. Collect, process, analyze and communicate force protection information to assist Air Force leaders in making informed decisions. Monitor global events and combat readiness status of all Air Force around - the - clock, seven days a week. Provide a vital information link between Air Force MAJCOMs, the Air Staff, and unified command air components. Provide force protection recommendations to the Air Force Directory of Security Forces during contingencies, crises, and wartime operations. Provides SF augmentation for the Air Force Operations Center (AFOC) during contingency or exercise activation.
