Indiana Adoption Program

Opening Hearts, Changing Lives

Children in foster care, particularly older youth, are waiting to be adopted. The Indiana Adoption Program, also known as the Special Needs Adoption Program (SNAP), welcomes responsible, caring adults who are ready to share their time, their hearts, and their lives with our waiting children. When you adopt a waiting child, you will be giving that child a permanent family and another chance in life. Every child needs a loving, committed, safe, and permanent family.

We encourage you to use our website to learn about the children waiting for a home in Indiana. We trust you will find it an informative and useful guide as you make this most important decision to parent a child. If you would like more information about the adoption process, you can also call us at 1-888-25ADOPT.

To see children available for adoption in Indiana, please click on the link below. There you will find an online photo listing of children and sibling groups available for adoption in Indiana. In addition to the photos, you will find a brief synopsis about each youth’s strengths, interests, and hobbies.

When you see a child or sibling group that you are interested in learning more about, please click the “Make an Inquiry” button, fill out the form, and then submit it. Your inquiry will then be sent to a SNAP Specialist, and your information is then forwarded to the appropriate contact for the child.
