NCCA Inflation Indices and Joint Inflation Calculator
- The PB17 NCCA Inflation Indices and Joint Inflation Calculator (JIC) is for both Army and Navy users. It includes Army Indices provided by the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army, Cost and Economics.
- Army users should check the DASA (C&E) web page.
- NCCA generates inflation rates and indices for Navy and Marine Corps appropriations and cost elements.
- NCCA updated the JIC in February 2016. These rates are used for preparing the FY17 Presidents Budget (PB17).
- In Excel 2007/2010, if you see "Security Warning Macros have been disabled" above the formula bar, click on the Options button and choose "Enable this content" .
- In Excel 2003, If you receive a message that macros are disabled, please close the file and click on Tools, Macro, Security, and check that the security level is set at Medium. Then re-open the file.
Use the links below to download a Microsoft Excel woorkbook with the JIC. We recommend that you "Right-Click" on the link and select "Save Target As" to save the workbook. Then open the workbook with Microsoft Excel and select "Enable" macros.
Please note: in order to use the workbook, macros must me enabled.
