2015 FDIC National Survey of Unbanked and Underbanked Households

This biennial survey, done in partnership with the U.S. Census Bureau provides estimates of the proportion of U.S. households that do not have an account at an insured institution, and the proportion that have an account but obtained (nonbank) alternative financial services in the past 12 months. Learn more

Natural Disaster Impact on Banking Operations

The FDIC works cooperatively with state and federal banking agencies as well as other organizations to determine the status of the financial institutions located in areas affected by natural disasters. Information on Hurricane Matthew will be updated as it becomes available to the FDIC and other state and federal regulators.

Today's Bank, Huntsville, Arkansas, Assumes All of the Deposits of Allied Bank, Mulberry, Arkansas

Allied Bank, Mulberry, Arkansas, was closed today by the Arkansas State Banking Department, which appointed the FDIC as receiver. To protect the depositors, the FDIC entered into a purchase and assumption agreement with Today’s Bank, Huntsville, Arkansas, to assume all of the deposits of Allied Bank.
