The AOC staffs the Judicial Council which works to improve justice in all Georgia courts through collaboration, innovation, and information.The AOC strives to provide subject-matter expertise on policy, legislation, and court administration to all of Georgia's courts.The AOC also furnishes a full range of information technology, budget, and financial services to the judicial branch.

The Judicial Council of Georgia is the policy-making body for Georgia’s judiciary, chaired by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia. Membership consists of 26 judges who represent the state’s appellate and trial courts.

Under authority granted by the Georgia Constitution, the Georgia Supreme Court adopts and publishes uniform court rules with the advice and consent of the affected class or classes of courts. Click here to view court rules.
