Good app, but a few suggestions Is it possible to save certain hospitals under favorites for quick access? Also, can we update info for hospitals in our area? Some hospitals have moved, shut down or opened up, but the list for this region is pretty old. Edit for reply: I didn't see a link for in-app feedback, is there an email address I can use instead?

The death blow to this app Didn't look too much into this app but I immediately went to the choking portion and they actually recommend the 5 pats on the back of a choking adult or child. The term they should have used was to give the individual whos choking the death blow because that's exactly what it is. Never pat a choking person on the back.

Monsanto? I appreciate the Red Cross immensely. But why would an organization such as the Red Cross be affiliating with a world health endangering corporation like Monsanto? Same answer as always. Money. Call me petty, but Monsanto is a ruthless, greedy, immoral company. Considering the unconscionable things they do to farmers (especially in third world countries), how they endanger the safety of the world food supply, how they bulldoze consumer rights to know what is in our food... no thanks ARC. Uninstalling.

Disappointed I just downloaded the app. I love the concept of this. However there is some missing information. I don't think its appropriate to call 911 for bites, stings, and chemical exposures. This is a service poison centers can assess and treat. This saves the person money and saves our ED for true emergencies. I encourage the app makers to contact the AAPCC for more information poison centers provide for free. The RNs and pharmacists that answer the phones are certified in toxicology and are often consulted by HCF

Was 5 star...till update...(Revised my Rating!) I've had this app for a long time...and it's never malfunctioned before...todays update keeps saying "unfortunately, it has stopped". PLEASE FIX!! What good is it when you try to open, and it promptly CRASHES? ? Samsung S3Galaxy. Just tried an uninstall-reinstall...STILL didn't FIX IT!! I'd give ZERO stars, if I could now! (YAY! BACK TO FIVE STARS!! THANK YOU FOR FIXING!).

LOCATION WRONG Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge + Just got this app and upon initial quick review I found the Hospital section to be dead wrong. Despite the fact that I have the Location button turned on in my phone, this app is giving me hospitals located in Arizona - I live in South FLORIDA. Please fix because it is very important to know where the hospitals, of ANY given area, are located. And hopefully expand it to get GPS directions as well.

Can you please send us feedback through the app (located in the menu in the upper left corner of the screen) and include which area your referring to so we can update the information ASAP.

Hi Sharon, this has been fixed now! LOCATION WRONG Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge + Just got this app and upon initial quick review I found the Hospital section to be dead wrong. Please fix because it is very important to know where the hospitals, of ANY given area, are located. And hopefully expand it to get GPS directions as well.
Incredible This has some of the most basic first response guides. I usually don't go out of my way to rate or comment on something unless I really like it. This app had done that. Check it out!
Very Informative The only suggestion I have is to make the quizzes harder. I want to make sure I really know what I am doing in an emergency. Some of the multiple choice questions have silly answers that are distracting to the true purpose of the quizzes.
Duh There's really nothing here. Take the quizzes. "True or False: Anaphylactic Shock is caused by shopping." That's a real question. You can't search for a problem / condition - junk.
Great app But some things are a little extreme.. You don't have to call 911 for everything. And "blows to the back" for choking is a bit odd..
First Aid American Red Cross, Great Refresher tool!! As someone who needs to be CPR & FIRST AID Certified for there job, this app is great to have just to refresh yourself from time to time!!! Five Stars because it can help save a life!!!
Love It! Would like to see a Food Poisoning section. I would also like to see the App automaically open under the "Emergency" Tab. Other than that, it's perfect.
If you support Monsanto I don't support you Just received an update about some safety rules by Monsanto. The only thing that will keep us safe is banning Monsanto's practice with our food. I'm uninstalling this app
Excellent! This is the one app, that every smart phone or tablet user should have, no matter what. An excellent toolbox that can help keep people safe! Thank you to the developers. I'll be recommending this app to everyone on my contacts list! 😃
Bad if your in the woods This is helpful but it would be better if this had information if your in the woods . there is no pillows or cellphone service in the woods
Life-saving information It's not the most comprehensive app in first aid info but it's enough for an average person to understand when responding to any emergency.
Diabetic emergency info INCOMPLETE. The entry focuses on low blood sugar only. It should contain an entry for high blood sugar also.
Red cross first aid Pretty worthless...a lot of needed helps are missing. Try the military app. Worth the tiny cost.
Very Nice This app give you a lot of information about basic first aid. This is perfect for those of us who do not know a lot about first aid or for someone looking for more info. Thanks.
The Icon Is a Stroke of Bad Luck The app's content is excellent. However, the icon is very phallic in nature and should perhaps be redesigned.
Lifesaving app. Highly recommended. This app is great. It puts lifesaving information directly in the palm of your hand in an emergency. And you have immediate access too 911 if you need it.
I'm out Didn't realize this was associated with Monsanto. Uninstalling for this reason!
Great way to learn basic first aid! This is a very well put together app that can teach anyone basic first aid. I really enjoyed using it!
Dont see Spanish language toggle The Spanish language toggle, to switch translation directly inside the app, is not visible. Were is it? It's advertised in your app description.

Hi, You can manually set the language by going to the app settings (the three dots in the top right -> settings) and click the "change your apps language" and then selecting "USA - español" Push notifications about donating Good info, but you have to stop the push notifications for donating blood. You don't even have an option to turn it off. Otherwise, the info is good.
Monsanto? Really?! I was on board until you got a horrible sponsor.
Recent update crashes Help! Update: Thanks for fix it works great again! AWESOME!
American Red Cross February 2, 2016
Hi Uriel, this has been fixed now! Good to have an emergency. Thank you for fixed the problem that I was experiencing before.
We'll see. This app initially crashed every time on my Samsung Galaxy S5. I uninstalled and reinstalled and now it works. Well see what happens.
Must have Im glad Monsanto is sponsoring this app. keeps the price free. No reason to not have this installed
Hope I Never Have to Use This App Great support resource after taking a course.
Good review material to help you be prepared. I like the quizzes to make you think about the correct responses.
