The Bradley Center is an American Correctional Association accredited Federal Bureau of Prisons contract Residential Reentry Center. It has been serving releasing inmates since the 1970's. Originally, it served inmates released from the Indiana State Prison located in Michigan City, Indiana. Later it shifted its direction to serving the societal reentry needs of Federal inmates at the end of their Federal sentence. Additionally, it serves the local U.S. Courts and Probation Office by providing a restricted environment for sentence modifications and for modifications of supervised release. The Bradley Center has the capacity to house approximately 115 residents, mostly males and a few females. The current census stands at 82 individuals. The Center's primary role is to provide programming using evidence based principles for a variety of societal reintegration needs, such as: risk assessment, employment assistance and education, family reintegration, educational arrangements, medical arrangements, and counseling arrangements.
