Land Cover Applications and Global Change

Land Cover Applications and Global Change Home

The Land Cover Applications and Global Change Branch at EROS integrates field data, remote sensing, and simulation models to better understand and seek solutions to national and global issues. Our applications support sustainable natural resource use, carbon cycle science, biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation, adaptive management, and robust simulation modeling approaches that evaluate ecosystem and landscape dynamics and simulate future scenarios. Projects and tasks are integrated by USGS with support from USAID, NASA, USDA, International Development Banks, and others.
