VA Choice Program

Many Veterans now have the option to receive non-VA health care rather than waiting for a VA appointment or traveling to a VA facility. On November 5, 2014, the new Choice Program began to cover non-VA care for eligible Veterans enrolled in VA healthcare. Veterans are eligible if any of these situations apply to you: Learn more. New video posted on YouTube for the Choice Program. Non-VA Care has a new phone number: 509-484-7969

Urgent Care Center

Effective December 1, 2014 the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center (VAMC) has initiated temporary changes in the operations of the Emergency Department (ED) which is now an Urgent Care Center (UCC). For more information click on the Fact Sheet. Click here for a Fact Sheet with important information on Non-VA Emergency Care.  In case of an Emergency, Veteran patients should always call 9-1-1 for their nearest medical facility.  Reminder:  Veterans using Non-VA care for an emergency must notify the VAMC within 72-hours of care to apply for and be considered for reimbursement.
