ESGR promotes employer support for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of applicable laws, and assisting in the resolution of conflicts between employers and servicememebrs. It provides employment opportunities by partnering with Yellow Ribbon, public and private entities to train servicemembers and families on resume development, interview process, and job fairs.

Hero2Hired (H2H) was created to make it easy for Reserve Component and National Guard servicemembers to connect to and find jobs with military-friendly companies. H2H also offers career exploration tools, military-to-civilian skills translations, education and training resources, as well as a mobile app. Support for H2H is provided through the Department of Defense's Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program.

NG Job Connection Education Program & NG Employment Enhancement Program
The Job Connection Education Program (JCEP) staff is here to help Guard and Reserve servicemembers and their spouses who are unemployed or under-employed find careers. Offered by the Army National Guard, dedicated training and development specialists and a skilled business advisor will assist participants in making their job connections.
The Tennessee Department of Labor has partnered with Dollar General and several major employers in Tennessee to connect veterans with jobs. The “Paychecks for Patriots” hiring fairs will be held in Tennessee Career Centers throughout the state and will feature local employers interested in putting veterans to work.
