Commander 194th Engineer Brigade

Colonel Brad Bishop is a native and resident of Brownsville, Tennessee; he graduated from Haywood High School in 1983 and received his BS Degree from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia. He has been married to wife Kim Howse Bishop for 21 years. He enlisted into the Tennessee Army National Guard as a Private First Class in 1984 and received his commission through the Tennessee Military Academy in 1988.

Colonel Bishop’s military education includes the Armor Officer Basic Course, Armor Advance Course, Engineer Officer Advance Course, Combined Arms Service Staff School, Military Police Officers Pre-Command course and is a graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College.

Colonel Bishop’s assignments include: Armor Platoon Leader, Aid-de-camp to the Adjutant General of Tennessee, Commander, Headquarters Company 4-109 Armor Battalion, Commander Headquarters Company 230th Engineer Battalion, Commander West Tennessee Recruiting and Retention Command and currently serves  as the Deputy Chief of Staff, Engineers.

Commander 30th Troop Command

Colonel Milton Thompson is the Commander of the 30th Troop Command, headquartered in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Thompson, a Nashville native, is the Deputy Director of Human Resources Office at Joint Forces Headquarters, Tennessee National Guard. He enlisted in the Tennessee Army National Guard as a Draftsman and Surveyor in the 194th Engineer Brigade in 1985 and received his commission from Vanderbilt University in 1987.

Thompson deployed and served as the 194th Engineer Brigade’s Adjutant (G-1) during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has also served in numerous overseas tours to include Operation “Bright Star” in Egypt and Operation “Key Resolve” in Korea.

Before assuming command of the 30th Troop Command, Thompson was the battalion commander the 301st Troop Command and commanded the 913th CSE Engineer Company as well serving in as various staff positions throughout his career. His awards include the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Army Achievement Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters and numerous other awards.

Thompson is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College, Command and General Staff College, Combined Arms and Services Staff School, Adjutant General’s Transition course, Engineer Officer Advance course and the Chemical Officer Basic Course. His civilian education includes a Master’s degree from the Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee.

COL H. Warner Holt, II is the 12th Colonel of the Regiment.  COL Holt enlisted in the National Guard in 1983 and received his commission in 1987 from the Tennessee Military Academy. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 1990 and is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College.

COL Holt has served in all levels of leadership including Service Battery Commander, Firing Battery Commander, Squadron S4, Field Artillery Brigade O&I, Squadron S3, Squadron Executive Officer, Squadron Commander, Regimental Fire Support Coordination Officer and J5, Joint Staff.

His military education includes the Field Artillery Officer Basic Course, Fort Sill, OK; Field Artillery Officer Advanced Course, Fort Sill, OK; Combined Arms & Services Staff School and Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, KS; and the U.S. Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, PA.

In February, 2010, COL Holt deployed with the 278th ACR as the Commander of the Field Artillery Squadron in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. During the deployment he was assigned as the Garrison Commander for Contingency Operating Site Marez and Logistics Support Area Diamondback.  COL Holt also commanded his three organic Convoy Security Companies that executed numerous combat convoy escort missions throughout Northern Iraq. In 2006, COL Holt served as the Team Chief for an Embedded Training Team (ETT) supporting the 3-207th Infantry Kandak, Afghanistan National Army, where he served in the Provinces of Helmand and Herat in Central and Western Afghanistan. In 2005, COL Holt deployed with the 196th Field Artillery Brigade as the S3 for an Embedded Training Team (ETT) supporting the 3-207th Infantry Kandak, Afghanistan National Army in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

COL Holt’s awards include the Bronze Star w/ oak leaf cluster, the Meritorious Service Medal and the Combat Action Badge.

On the civilian side, Warner has worked with various contractors at Arnold Air Force Base, TN for over 25 years.  He is currently a manager in the Mission Support Department with Aerospace Testing Alliance (ATA).  He is a Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) and has worked in various maintenance roles to include the Deputy Branch Manager for Civil Engineering and Facilities Operations and Maintenance for ATA.

COL Holt is married to Nancy and they have two children, Jacob and Alexis.

COLONEL KEITH A. ALLBRITTEN

Colonel Keith A. Allbritten is the Commander, 118th Wing, Berry Field ANGB, Nashville, TN.  Col Allbritten entered the Air Force in 1989, receiving his commission from Officer Training School at Lackland AFB, Medina Annex.  Upon completion of undergraduate navigator training at Mather AFB, CA, Col Allbritten was assigned to the KC-135R at McConnell AFB, KS.  In 1994, he transferred to C-130Es at Little Rock AFB, AR, serving in an operational squadron and a schoolhouse unit.  After completing his Air Force commitment in 2000, he joined the Air National Guard in Nashville. After a tour as Chief of Wing Plans, he served as Operations Officer and later Commander of the 105th Airlift Squadron.  In 2010, he became the Operations Group Deputy Commander, where he served as Vice Commander until October 2015.

Col Allbritten is a master navigator with over 6200 flying hours in a variety of aircraft, to include T-37, T-43, KC-135A, KC-135R, C-130E, WC-130H, and C-130H2.   He has over 340 combat hours and has flown in support of numerous Operations while deployed, to include Northern Watch, Southern Watch, Deny Flight, Restore Hope, Joint Guard, Joint Forge, Joint Endeavor, Coronet Oak, Noble Eagle, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom.

Commander, 164th Airlift Wing

Col Raymond S. Robinson IV is Commander of the 164 Airlift Wing, Memphis, Tennessee.  One of the Air National Guard's five strategic airlift wings, the  164th is trained and equipped to provide rapid global mobility in C-17 aircraft supporting National Security Objectives. In peacetime, the 164th reports to the Governor of Tennessee providing emergency relief and support to civil defense authorities preserving peace, order and public safety. The Wing comprises approximately 1000 personnel with over 300 military civil service and civilian employees.

Col Robinson graduated from the United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School in May 1987. Next, he received his commission as a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in May 1991. His previous assignment was the Commander, 164 Operations Group, Memphis Tennessee, where he oversaw flying operations for eight C-5A aircraft before leading the conversion to eight C-17A aircraft. Moreover, he led over 170 Air Guard Technicians, Active Guard/Reservists, and Traditional Guardsmen supporting and executing strategic airlift missions. As a Command Pilot, he has commanded combat support missions during Operations NORTHERN WATCH, SOUTHERN WATCH, IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM and NEW DAWN. In addition, he is MD-11 Pilot at United Parcel Service.
