Tribal Broadband a Challenge in Utah and Nationwide

congressional_research_serviceThe Congressional Research Service reports approximately 41% of Americans living on tribal lands land access to broadband speeds that meet the federal definition for broadband.  Nationwide, only 10% of all Americans lack access to the same 25 Mbps download/3 Mbps upload speed tier.  Rural tribal areas in the lower 48 states are said to have the poorest access, with 72% of Americans on tribal lands lacking access.
