    Office Holiday Hours 

    DPOR will be closed on Friday, Dec. 23rd & Monday, Dec. 26th for Christmas. 

    Online Services will be available for license renewals and other transactions, but without staff technical support until office hours resume. 

    We will re-open to serve you on Tuesday, Dec. 27th.


    Home Inspector Program Transition

    NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD

    The 2016 General Assembly approved legislation to transition the voluntary certification program for home inspectors to mandatory licensing requirement. As a result, the act of performing a home inspection in Virginia will require a DPOR-issued license beginning July 1, 2017.

    Upcoming Exam Changes 

    Effective January 1, 2017, NTN/Ergometrics will no longer be the exam vendor for DPOR test candidates.
