Governing Board Thanks Florida Congressional Delegation for Advancing Everglades Restoration

With the recent passage of the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act of 2016, the U.S. Congress authorized a pair of critical South Florida projects – the Central Everglades Planning Project (CEPP) and completion of the Picayune Strand Restoration Project. SFWMD Governing Board Chairman Dan O'Keefe sent letters to U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, U.S. Rep. Alcee Hastings and U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan thanking them for their leadership and staunch support of Everglades restoration on behalf of Florida.
