Department of Transportation & City of Pierre Seek Public Input into Northeast Pierre Master Transportation Plan Study

The South Dakota Department of Transportation, in collaboration with the city of Pierre, will hold a public open house as part of the Northeast Pierre Master Transportation Plan. This open house public meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Jan. 4, 2017, in the gymnasium at Kennedy Elementary School (2306 Brookstone Loop) in Pierre.

Illegally Dumped Snow Can Cause Problems

The South Dakota Department of Transportation reminds the public and commercial snow removal operators that it is illegal to place or dump excess snow on highway right of way, which includes driving surfaces, shoulders and ditches.
