About Us

The Virginia Field Office is located in Gloucester, Virginia. We have an office located in Abingdon, Virginia and a biologist located remotely at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.

 

What we do:

  • Work with partners to recover threatened and endangered species
  • Investigate the effects and clean-up of contaminants and help restore polluted habitats
  • Ensure that fish and wildlife resources are considered by agencies during project planning and structure construction
  • Partner with private landowners to to restore fish and wildlife habitats
