Introduction

Link products reference web pages where additional information can be found about an event. These should usually only be used when the content cannot be sent as a product. There are limited other suggested uses.

Types

general-link

Displayed under the "For More Information" heading at the bottom of the General Summary section of the event page.

These addon codes can be used with general-link:

impact-link

Displayed under the "For More Information" heading at the bottom of the Impact Summary section of the event page.

impact-link products using addon code TsunamiLinks are not currently displayed on the event page and instead result in a tsunami icon linking to tsunami.gov in the Quick Summary section of the event page.

Properties

addon-type: This property is only required for compatibility with CISN Display. Value should be LinkURL.
addon-code: This property is only required for compatibility with CISN Display. Value should begin with one of the addon codes listed above. Within an event each addon-code should be unique from a given source. To send multiple links with the same addon code, use a sequence number as a suffix, for exampleFocalMech01
url: The URL href for the link. This should be an absolute URL including protocol, such as http://www.google.com/.
text: The display text for the link.
