Wiyot Tribe

The Wiyot Tribal Archives are instrumental in the rediscovery and preservation of native history.  Archives include written documents, family photos, audio and video recordings, and a growing number of family histories.  With funding from the National Archives and Records Administration, the Tribe is developing state of the art policies, procedures, and equipment to insure the safety, security, and access of these records to all who wish to know more about Wiyot history and culture.   Anyone with information or questions about Wiyot history is encouraged to contact the Tribal Archivist at 707-733-5055.
