    Furnas County was inadvertently omitted from the 2nd bullet on the graphic. They could also be at risk for storms moving in from the SW this evening

    Greatest near-term thunderstorm threat remains SW of the area next couple of hours. New thunderstorm development remains POSSIBLE, but ongoing cloud cover could limit coverage and intensity.

    Severe thunderstorms remain a possibility as we get into the late afternoon-evening hours. Large hail, damaging winds & heavy rain are the main hazards...but an isolated tornado is not out of the question. NOW is the time to ensure you have ways to get warning info!

    Strong to severe storms possible late this afternoon into the evening hours. Timing wise 6pm to 11pm will have the highest chances to see severe storms. Large hail and gusty winds will be the primary threats, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

    Strong to severe storms expected this afternoon and evening with wind and hail as the primary threats with any storms that do form. Locally heavy rainfall could also be an issues with these storms.

    Severe weather will be moving into the western parts of our forecast area early tonight. Between 1 AM and 2 AM we are expecting to see considerable weakening to the line, so the threat to our area should diminish by then.

    Little change to the earlier forecast. Mostly cloudy and breezy conditions continue, with thunderstorm chances increasing by early tonight. Some storms could be strong to severe as a frontal system moves across our area.
