Blueprint reviews are conducted prior to new construction or renovations at existing facilities. This ensures the facility will meet the basic requirements of the Department’s regulations. Business plan reviews are required in order to determine whether the firm requires licensing from the Department, if the firm’s operations are within the scope of the Department’s regulations, and that the facilities provided are adequate for the food that is being produced and/or sold on the premises.
