How can I submit a notice for the Bulletin Calendar of Events?
You can mail your calendar event to the address given above or fax it to (404) 463-4389 .  Calendar notices can be sent via e-mail to Amy.Carter@agr.georgia.gov. Notices must be sent at least two (2) weeks prior to the issue the notice is to appear.

What are the guidelines for submitting a notice for the Bulletin Calendar?
Items normally are published two weeks prior to the date of the event.  Notices must be received at least two weeks prior to the publication date. Notices for Livestock sales and Accepting Applications (for craft events) may be included in the calendar twice; other events, such as meetings, craft fairs, etc., are published only once.

Calendar announcements should be as close to 20 words as possible and include the following information: date, time, name of the event, location, and name and contact number for more information.

Equine events should be submitted for the special equine events calendar, which is published in the quarterly equine edition and should not be re-submitted for publication again in the Bulletin Calendar.  If a correction is necessary for a notice published in the quarterly equine calendar, the notice will be published as a correction in the Bulletin Calendar upon request. Equine events occurring between the quarterly equine events calendars may be submitted for the Bulletin Calendar.

Livestock sales and auctions that occur on a regular basis are published in the Livestock Clip and Save Calendar, which is published monthly.

Notices for auctions selling any items other than livestock must be accompanied by the auction license number of the principal auctioneer or auction firm conducting the auction, per regulations of the Georgia Secretary of State; notices without this information cannot be published.
