Press Releases Keep You Informed 24/7
The Georgia Department of Agriculture keeps the public informed through its press releases. When there is an important story or piece of information the public needs to know, our Office of Public Affairs will write and distribute a press release to newspapers, radio and television stations, and other media outlets. We also post our press releases online to give you access to them 24/7. Our press releases inform you about recalled foods, contaminated kerosene and gasoline, insect pests and diseases, important crop developments and weather events affecting agriculture, regulatory actions taken by the Department, and other newsworthy topics.
