Desk Telephone Setup

Our workstations are being equipped with new VoIP desk phones, and as a result we must change our communication settings and contact numbers in order to continue to function smoothly.  Take the time to complete this checklist to make sure you’re ready!

The documents posted below are reference guides for the new VoIP phones. Most of you have the Polycom 321 phones (2 lines), while administrative personnel and managers have the Polycome 650 (6 lines).

Please Take Note

With these new phones at your desk come new dialing patterns to operate with.

• You no longer need to dial 9 to reach outside your building / NOAA Network. Simply dial the full 10 digit number.
  • 123-456-7890 for example
• Internal calls you can dial the last 5 digits of the full 10 digit number.
  • 67890 for example
