NOAA's Environmental, Safety, and Sustainability Office (NESSO) is a professional services organization that establishes National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) policy and provides guidance, and oversight in the areas of Safety and Occupational Health; Environmental Management; and Energy Management and Sustainability to ensure compliance with regulatory, internal, and other requirements and to drive toward continuous improvement in Safety, Occupational Health, Environment, and Sustainability performance.

The NOAA Environmental, Safety and Sustainability Office has released its new Environmental, Safety, and Sustainability Orientation Course for all applicable NOAA employees and affiliates. NOAA employees who can access the Commerce Learning Center (CLC) should take the course through that site. http://doc.csod.com.
