2016 NVGAG Air Rifle Results

The National Veterans Golden Age Games is the premier senior adaptive rehabilitation program in the United States, and the only national multi-event sports and recreational seniors’ competition program designed to improve the quality of life for all older Veterans, including those with a wide range of abilities and disabilities. The VA Challenges and encourages senior Veterans to be proactive in embracing a healthier lifestyle.

The games are open to Veterans, ages 55 or older, who receive health care from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

The 2016 NVGAG honored the Mr. Donald Starler as the 1st NVGAG Athlete Hall of Fame Inductee, in recognition of NVGAG athletes who have distinguished themselves and set an exemplary example while preparing for and during participation in the National Veterans Golden Age Games, by virtue of their performance as well as by meritorious efforts based on the following criteria: Sportsmanship, Dedication, Leadership and Active Healthy Lifestyle year-round.

The Expo:

The annual National Veterans Golden Age Games Health & Wellness Expo promotes our motto of “Fitness for Life” to approximately 800 senior American Veterans. The Expo enhances the athlete experience and provides you with an interactive opportunity to feature a sampling of various demonstrations, displays and products that can help our senior Veterans maintain their active lifestyles.

Volunteers donating their time and talents are essential to the success of the National Veterans Golden Age Games. Several thousand opportunities will be available to help with everything from sporting events to hospitality services. Events will take place at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center and surrounding community venues. Opportunities will also available to assist at the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport and Biloxi hotels. Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire duration of the volunteer shift.

Volunteer registration for the 2017 NVGAG will open this winter. Please continue to check this website for updates. We look forward to your support of our nation’s senior Veterans in Biloxi!
