...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON IN THE
NORTHERN PANHANDLES AND FAR SOUTHWESTERN TEXAS PANHANDLE...

* Affected Area...The Oklahoma Panhandle and the northern and far
  southwestern Texas Panhandle.

* 20 Foot Winds...Out of the west-southwest at 10 to 15 mph with a
  shift to out of the north in the Oklahoma Panhandle during the
  late afternoon.

* Relative Humidity...8 to 15 percent.

* Timing...12 PM CDT through 8 PM CDT.

Outdoor burning and activities that cause open sparks or flames
are discouraged. Fire and emergency officials should be aware that
weather conditions will be favorable for the development of
large grass fires.
