Eastern Oklahoma/Northwest Arkansas Weather Summary

The skies over eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas were
variably cloudy this afternoon with scattered showers and
thunderstorms affecting much of the area. The precipitation
originated across the north, then gradually shifted south through
the day, eventually crossing into north Texas by late afternoon.
High temperatures around the area today ranged from the lower 80s
to near 90 degrees.

At mid evening, skies were clear to partly cloudy. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms were ongoing across central Oklahoma.
Some of this activity has briefly crossed into southern Creek
county. Light east to southeast winds prevailed across the area
this evening, with temperatures ranging from the mid 70s to lower
80s.

Clear to partly cloudy skies are outlooked for the area through
the overnight, with a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms
to persist for much of the area. Low temperatures on Sunday will
vary from the mid 60s to lower 70s. Partly cloudy conditions will
prevail across area skies on Sunday, as will a slight chance for
showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will warm into the mid 80s
to lower 90s by late afternoon tomorrow.
