Passage Center website for current America's National Fish Hatcheries are managed by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. An agency that oversees a network of land and water dedicated to the preservation of wildlife throughout the western hemisphere. Within the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area in Washington, four National Fish Hatcheries are keeping with the highest standards of science to develop strategies that will retain and create sustainable populations of salmon. Visitors have the opportunity to photograph, observe and learn how these American treasures within the Columbia River Gorge are part of the global network.
