Notice of Amendments to Certain Official Bankruptcy Forms and Revision of Certain Dollar Amounts in the Bankruptcy Code Effective April 1, 2016

Notice of Amendments to Official Bankruptcy Forms Effective December 1, 2015 *Effective December 1, 2015, the new official forms are mandatory for all filings in the Western District of Missouri, regardless of whether the petition was filed before or after December 1, 2015.

Pro Se Debtor Announcements:

Pro se debtors with valid email accounts may elect to receive electronic notices, instead of paper notices, of documents filed in their case by completing and returning a Pro Se Notice Registration Form

Scam Targets Bankruptcy Filers

A sophisticated phone scam is targeting bankruptcy filers in several states, using personal information from filings and posing as attorneys to get intended victims to immediately wire money to satisfy a debt.
