Preservation Education Workshop Series for Local Governments

The Office of Historic Preservation's (OHP) Local Government and Environmental Compliance Unit is pleased to offer an annual series of free educational workshops for local governments. The workshops cover a variety of preservation-related topics and provide a "toolkit" of knowledge to help make local preservation programs stronger and more effective.

2016 Local Government Workshops

Throughout 2016, we partnered with local governments around the state to host a series of historic preservation training opportunities. Attendees learned how to help initiate policies to preserve and protect historic and cultural resources in California. There are still two sessions remaining for this year! Please review the scheduled workshops below and consider signing up for one of these valuable learning opportunities.

For past workshops please visit our Presentation Archives page.
