The USGS is committed to a process of continual data collection, processing, and review. Therefore, data presented here are potentially subject to further review and may be revised if needed. Long-term trend estimates are recomputed on an annual basis, but may be revised if hydrographic review indicates a mis-match between the computed trend and the data record. Metadata, for the site location GIS coverage used to create the map, is available in FGDC and HTML formats. Postscript and Adobe PDF versions of the map are available for printing.
