On Monday, August 21, 2017, the Moon will pass in front of the Sun, casting its shadow across all of North America. This will be the first total solar eclipse visible in the contiguous United States in 38 years. You won't want to miss it.
The Night Sky Network and Astronomical Society of the Pacific are creating and curating information for amateur astronomers and other informal educators. Below you'll find a presentation designed to prepare communitites off the path of totality. There are also postcards that can be edited to include your organization's information and sent to a printer.
