National Center for Ethics in Health Care
The National Center for Ethics in Health Care serves as VA's authoritative resource for addressing the complex ethical issues that arise in patient care, health care management, and research.
We provide information, education, and consultation and oversee nationwide programs and quality improvement projects to help health care practitioners and administrators to understand and apply health care ethics standards.
We also provide information to Veterans, patients, and their families to help them understand ethical issues that relate to their health care experience.
