ORS's primary mission is to promote responsibility.

We help ensure that parents are financially responsible for their children by providing child support services and support for children in care. We also work to help ensure public funds are used appropriately through the efforts of our Bureau of Medical Collections.

The ORS phone system was successfully replaced on April 2, 2016. Even though the new phone system is working well in many ways, clients continue to experience longer than normal wait times to speak to the customer service unit. Some clients have also reported that the system does not understand their voice responses correctly. ORS will continue to add additional workers to help lower wait times. ORS is working with the company who built the system to add an option to leave a message for customer service and to improve the speech recognition in the new system. Thank you for your continued patience.
