The Laboratory engages academic and industrial partners in a variety of research programs and technology transfer activities. These programs and activities, in addition to enabling research that furthers Laboratory missions, engage university faculty and students in cutting-edge research and promote the commercialization of LLNL technologies. Outreach activities also bring the science and technology achievements of the Laboratory to teachers, students, and the rest of the education community, as well as the public at large.
