The Public Service Board is an independent, three-member, quasi-judicial board that regulates the siting of electric and natural gas infrastructure and supervises the rates, quality of service, and overall financial management of Vermont's public utilities: electric, gas, energy efficiency, telecommunications, cable television (terms of service only, not rates), water and large wastewater companies.

New Website!

As of January 1, 2017, the Board website has been updated for consistency with the web template used by other state agencies. We took the opportunity to update a lot of the content as well. In particular, we have added an entirely new section called Public Participation that is intended to serve as a guide for how to participate in cases before the Board.

Documents related to specific cases are being uploaded to our new online document-management system, ePSB. We are transferring files to ePSB as quickly as possible. If you can’t find a document you need, please contact the Clerk of the Board, (802) 828-2358 and we will provide it to you.

New Online Document-Management System – ePSB!

ePSB is an electronic filing and case management system that you can use to find information about Board cases and read documents related to those cases. Many types of new cases can also be filed in ePSB; subsequent phases of ePSB will go live later in 2017. Information on how to use ePSB, including the Board’s Procedures for Electronic Filing Using ePSB, is available. The Board will also be providing training in January for anyone who is interested.
