Emergency Incident Notification


Executive Order 2016-04K was signed on August 9, 2016, which creates and implements a one-call emergency notification system for oil and natural gas related emergencies and allows DOGRM to immediately adopt administrative rules necessary to implement the system.

The 24/7 emergency notification number is 1-844-OHCALL1.

Ohio's Utica Shale Third Quarter Production Totals Released

During the third quarter of 2016, Ohio's horizontal shale wells produced 3,954,095 barrels of oil and 360,681,356 Mcf (360 billion cubic feet) of natural gas, according to the figures released today by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).
