About DHCF

The straightforward mission of the agency is to improve the health outcomes of low-income residents of the District by providing access to a full range of preventative, primary, urgent and critical health care services.

Medicaid

DC Medicaid provides health care coverage to low-income and disabled adults, children and families. To be eligible, you must be a resident of DC and must meet non-financial and financial eligibility requirements.

Medicaid Provider Portal

DC Medicaid is a healthcare program that pays for medical services for qualified low-income and disabled people. For those eligible for full Medicaid services, Medicaid pays healthcare providers.
