Wyoming Board of ParoleIn 2003, the Board of Parole became a separate operating agency. The Board conducts executive session inmate hearings for all Wyoming felony inmates, which entails two hearings per month during most months of the year. Additionally, the Board conducts quarterly public business meetings each year.
Mission StatementThe mission of the Board is to conduct prompt, fair, impartial hearings on the matters brought to its attention and take appropriate action. Consideration will be given to public safety, victims, and the treatment and control of the offender. Wyoming 1 of 4 States Selected to Participate in National Parole Summit CHEYENNE - Wyoming was recently selected as 1 of 4 States to participate in a National Summit on Paroling Authorities as Key Public Safety Partners. The Summit was part of a learning collaborative sponsored by the National Governors Association (NGA) and the National Parole Resource Center (NPRC), and was held in Washington D.C., on November 19th and 20th, 2015.
