It is affiliated with the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center and the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital. Both sites are part of the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8 which extends from South Georgia to Miami, Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
CINDRR is dedicated to conducting research that identifies, develops, and tests strategies for improving Veteran rehabilitation services across the continuum of care and providing long term support for Veterans with disabilities and their families, including issues related to access, utilization, cost, quality, and health outcomes.
Our research focuses on maximizing Community Reintegration and Caregiving outcomes, seamlessly integrating Rehabilitation Analytics Research, and advocating the use of Rehabilitation Technology to provide outstanding outcomes for Veterans and their families. Our center goals include providing excellent Mentorship opportunities for the next generation of VA researchers and fostering Cross-Center Collaborations and VA Operational Partnerships to benefit VHA research.
Examples of continuing collaboration between the two CINDRR sites, our national program, COIN, and affiliate partners are found in the stories above and throughout our site.
