Peace Corps in Liberia

There are more than 70 Volunteers in Liberia working with their communities on education projects. During their service in Liberia, Volunteers learn to speak local languages, including Liberian English, Kpelle, Gio, Gola, Via and Mano. More than 4,185 Peace Corps Volunteers have served in Liberia since the program was established in 1962.
