The Defense Department raised more than million for the Combined Federal Campaign in 2016, surpassing its million goal by more than million and making DoD the highest-achieving federal agency in the 2016 campaign, Deputy Defense Secretary Bob Work said Jan. 26.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — As fans donned their colors Sunday to show support for their teams during Super Bowl LI, the Defense Department also showed its support.
Since 1999, the department has supported the Super Bowl in a variety of ways, including flyovers, musical performances, air drops and distinguished guests for the coin toss.
