Administrative Rules and Statutes

There are many laws, rules, and regulations covering the various professions and services for which the Department of Safety and Professional Service (DSPS) has responsibility. These laws, rules, and regulations come from actions of the Legislative and Executive Branches which pass laws that modify Wisconsin Statutes and the Rulemaking process which involves agencies such as DSPS working together with professional boards to develop rules which will carry out requirements set out in Wisconsin Statutes.
