Biography
Nazmire is a young man who is able to communicate with facial expressions and vocalizations. Though he is diagnosed with cerebral palsy and is non-verbal, he recognizes and responds to his name. Nazmire smiles when spoken to directly and laughs spontaneously. Determinedly, he uses a walker with assistance. Nazmire loves to eat and had been eating finely chopped food, but now is receiving his nutrition through a g-tube. He enjoys the company of others and listening to music. Nazmire participates in social and recreational activities and enjoys spending time with his peers. He likes traveling off grounds when he is able. Nazmire is a special soul who would add to the joy of a family.

Nataya is a beautiful girl with an adorable personality. Though diagnosed with cerebral palsy and non-verbal, she speaks volumes through her shining brown eyes. Nataya invites attention through smiles, making eye contact, facial expressions, and laughing. Through much determination, she is able to walk short distances with assistance. Nataya prefers walking to being in her wheelchair. Her caregivers have described her as having a diva personality. She delights in showing off her walking skills to newcomers. One of Nataya’s favorite foods is shrimp egg fu young. She can eat by mouth, but her food needs to be pureed to a honey-like consistency.

Nazmire and Nataya need a forever family who is committed to their care and happiness, who will love them and who will advocate for the resources that they need. Both children respond to warmth and would bring tremendous satisfaction to parents willing to care for them.

Nazmire and Nataya are legally free for adoption.
