Mental Health
Description: Perceived mental health status data are collected in the MEPS-HC. Beginning in 2004, the Adult Self-Administered Questionnaire includes two additional mental health measures.
Data tables: Mental disorders is a condition listed in the Medical Expenditures by Condition Tables.
Analytic tools: You can use the MEPSnet/HC query tool to generate your own estimates. Refer to the perceived mental health status variables within the Health Status Variable, Group of the Variable Selection Refer to the MCDEV or MCREV variables within the Health Insurance Variable Group of the Variable category Selection Query Tab.
