The NASA Glenn Research Center encompasses research facilities built on two sites. Lewis Field, the main campus, is situated next to Cleveland Hopkins Airport in Cleveland, Ohio. It includes 150 buildings on 350 acres.
Very large and hazardous tests are run at additional facilities at Plum Brook Field Station, a 6,400-acre complex in Sandusky, Ohio, about an hour west of Cleveland. Some of these facilities are highlighted in the TOPS by category to the left.
